Patients have either already been diagnosed with coeliac disease and are referred to this clinic due to the development of neurological symptoms, or have existing neurological dysfunction (e.g., ataxia, neuropathy) and thus undergo extensive serological screening for gluten sensitivity including AGAs (IgG and IgA), TGG, EMA and TG6 antibodies (IgA and IgG).
