Caffeic acid phenethyl ester (CAPE) is a polyphenol derived from propolis, which has various functions such as scavenging free radicals, anti-inflammatory, improving the colorectal microenvironment, inhibiting colorectal cancer cell differentiation [14,15], inhibiting the overexpression of pro-inflammatory cytokines, and down-regulating the NF-κB signaling pathway [16]. Here, NFKB1 is linked to colorectal cancer.
