These findings suggest that the major saponins of PG can play a direct role in central anti-obesity targets, such as EGFR, ESK3B, PPARG, HSP90AA1, STAT3, MTOR, IL2, JUN, and JAK2, which are related to signaling pathway in molecular docking. The gene discussed is PPARG; the disease is obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
