The role of MALAT1 in therapy for multiple myeloma (MM) was investigated by Amodio et al. [40], who determined that MALAT1 is entangled in a positive feedback loop with NRF1 and NRF2 TFs modulated by KEAP1, which suggests that targeting MALAT1 will offer a novel powerful option for the treatment of MM. This evidence concerns the gene NRF1 and Miyoshi myopathy.
