The gene–disease-association in humans showed that targeted genes of fs-cb-miRs like KLHL20, BBIP1, and PAPD4 have acted as biomarkers for the diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, Bardet-Biedl syndrome 18, and Hepatitis C virus infection, respectively. The gene discussed is KLHL20; the disease is early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
