The myocardial injury will be diagnosed using the blood serum levels of high-sensitivity troponin I (hs-cTnI) at 6 h, 24 h, and 48 h postoperatively using the pathway for the investigation of patients with isolated suspected acute coronary syndrome optimized for the ARCHITECTSTAT hs-cTnI assay [33].
