Many other works in NAFLD/NASH subjects have demonstrated increased levels of factors VII, VIII, IX, XII, vWF, and tissue factor (TF), probably related to higher C-reactive protein (CRP), plasminogen activator inhibitor 1 (PAI-1), and fibrinogen levels [9,11,13,15]. This evidence concerns the gene SERPINE1 and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
