Due to GNPDA2 interfering with multiple metabolic routes in different neurodegenerative contexts, we decided to evaluate GNPDA2 protein levels in serum across different neurodegenerative diseases such as AD, Lewy body dementia (LBD), progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), frontotemporal dementia (DFT) and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) (n = 187) (Figure 7A). Here, GNPDA2 is linked to progressive supranuclear palsy.
