Surprisingly, a study on the immunohistochemical expression of KIF11 in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) tissues conducted by Klimaszewska-Wiśniewska et al. showed high-intensity but less-abundant KIF11 staining, and the Kaplan-Meier curves suggested that the PDCA patients with overexpressed KIF11 had better overall survival (OS) rates [99]. This evidence concerns the gene KIF11 and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
