The addition of 2 years of abemaciclib to standard adjuvant endocrine therapy (ET) for high-risk, hormone receptor-positive (HR+), human epidermal growth factor receptor negative (HER2-) early-stage breast cancer (EBC) resulted in significant improvements in invasive disease-free survival (IDFS) and distant relapse-free survival (DRFS), which were further strengthened after the 2-year treatment period1,2.
