The miR-143-3p was found to regulate a number of genes that are involved in important pathways known to be linked to GCT including the phosphoinositide-3-kinase/Akt (PI3K–Akt) signaling pathway, mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling pathway, mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) signaling pathway, and others. The gene discussed is AKT1; the disease is granular cell tumor.
