Results from immunofluorescence staining and western blotting revealed that nuclear accumulation of β-catenin in CNE-1 and 5–8 F cells increased following silencing of PICK1 (Fig. 7A, C), whereas nuclear accumulation of β-catenin decreased in NPC cells overexpressing PICK1 (Fig. 7B, D). This evidence concerns the gene PICK1 and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
