We carried out shRNA- or CRISPR/CAS9-mediated GOLIM4 depletion studies on 3q-amplified human lung cancer cells and found that GOLIM4 deficiency reduced tumor growth and metastatic activity and led to longer survival durations in mice (Figure 2, D–J, and Supplemental Figure 1A; supplemental material available online with this article; https://doi.org/10.1172/JCI176355DS1). This evidence concerns the gene GOLIM4 and lung carcinoma.
