In this study, we explored LISA to detect specific IgG against three highly immunogenic antigens of T. pallidum, i.e. TP15, TP17, and TP47, and evaluated its syphilis diagnostic performance using TPPA as a reference since TPPA is a treponema-specific test for the diagnosis of syphilis and is more sensitive than FTA-Abs in primary syphilis patients [17]. This evidence concerns the gene CDKN2B and syphilis.
