Further analyses for human colorectal cancer scRNA-seq data revealed that HNF4A regulation activity is reduced in LYZ+ human colon cancer cells compared to the LYZ− cancer cells while SOX9 regulation activity is significantly increased (Fig. 6J–6K and S5) suggesting the key roles of HNF4A and SOX9 in LYZ+ cancer cell formation in human. This evidence concerns the gene LYZ and colonic neoplasm.
