As expected, upregulation EEF1A1 in CDCA5 knockdown cells induced mTOR activity, as evidenced by increased phosphorylation of key players in mTOR (Fig. 7A), indicating that mTOR may have a role in CDCA5/EEF1A1-mediated ccRCC progression. This evidence concerns the gene MTOR and nonpapillary renal cell carcinoma.
