The significant impact of IDH2 abrogation on cancer cell proliferation and viability was consistently observed in multiple cell lines, including MDA-MB-231, HCC38, BT549, MCF7, and BT474 cells (Figs. 1f–I, 6a–e and Fig S2b–k), suggesting that the IDH2 might play an important role in promoting cancer cell survival in various cell models. This evidence concerns the gene IDH2 and cancer.
