The involvement of these TFs is supported by the findings that (1) high expression of six out of the eight genes (MYCN, ID2, TBX2, TWIST1, SOX21, and SOX11) is associated with poor prognoses in primary NB tumors (R2 database; SEQC dataset); (2) several are key components of or linked to the NB CRC (GATA3, TBX2, MYCN)13,14,39, and (3) many functions as NB dependencies or are known to regulate NB growth and differentiation. The gene discussed is TWIST1; the disease is neuroblastoma.
