Our research team has investigated gouty arthritis in terms of gene polymorphisms, and we have identified the following important polymorphisms related to gouty arthritis: rs2231142 and rs72552713 polymorphisms in the ATP-binding cassette transporter subfamily G member 2 gene (ABCG2 gene); rs7349721 polymorphism in the solute carrier family 2 member 9 gene (SLC2A9 gene); rs3806268 and rs10754558 polymorphisms in the NLRP3 gene; and rs11935252, rs369028698, and rs3804100 polymorphisms in the TLR2 gene. The gene discussed is ABCG2; the disease is gout.
