In this study, we also found that the main targets of zoledronic acid, GGPS1 and FDPS, were not associated with the development of ovarian cancer, but the targets of action of lonafarnib, the two subunits of farnesyltransferase, FNTA and FNTB, were both associated with the development of ovarian cancer, which seems to support this view. This evidence concerns the gene FNTA and ovarian cancer.
