This gene has been reported to be hypomethylated in acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), the most common childhood blood cancer (Navarrete-Meneses and Perez-Ver, 2017), while a recent study has identified SH2D3C as a prognostic biomarker of tumor progression and immune evasion for lung cancer (Yeh et al., 2021). Here, SH2D3C is linked to lung cancer.
