It was demonstrated that GCS score at admission (P = 0.028, OR = 0.082, 95% CI: 0.009–0.765), serum NLRP3 level (P = 0.044, OR = 1.160, 95% CI: 1.004–1.341) and serum MMP‐9 level (P = 0.011, OR = 1.143, 95% CI: 1.030–1.268) were all independent risk factors affecting the patients’ postoperative hydrocephalus (Table 3). Here, MMP9 is linked to Hydrocephalus.
