In BRAF or RAS mutated or wildtype metastatic, RAI-resistant thyroid cancers treated with BRAF inhibitors and MEK inhibitors, re-induction of RAI uptake can only be achieved in 50–71% according to a recent systematic review of seven studies (12) and 60–95% in another recent study (13, 14).
