The above factors were further subjected to multivariate Cox regression analysis and the results revealed that histologic grade (HR = 1.835, 95% CI 1.062–3.169, p = 0.029), radiation therapy (HR = 0.423, 95% CI 0.220–0.816, P = 0.010), and primary therapy outcome (HR = 0.491, 95% CI 0.275–0.876, p = 0.016) were significantly correlated with pancreatic cancer patient's prognosis, but LRRFIP1 failed to be an independent prognostic factor for overall survival of pancreatic cancer patients among the factors examined (HR = 1.287, 95% CI 0.781–2.119, p = 0.322). This evidence concerns the gene LRRFIP1 and pancreatic neoplasm.
