IGF1 and myeloid sarcoma: In Hosback et al. [16] study, significantly increased levels of IGF-1 were observed in MS patients under treatment by interferon β (INF-β) compared to untreated ones; however, these findings were inconsistent with (Lanzillo et al. 2011; Nageeb, Hashim, and Fawzy 2018) studies that reported no statistically significant difference in serum IGF-1 levels of MS patients receiving INF-β therapy compared to untreated individuals.
