IGF1 and myeloid sarcoma: While most previous studies [12, 13, 19, 27] found that serum IGF-1 levels showed no significant difference between MS patients and the healthy control group, Nageeb et al. [27] mentioned significantly lower serum IGF-1 levels in MS patients, considering disease duration of more than five years, primary progressive type MS disease, and more incidences of relapses causing more disability in patients as possible confounders.
