As mentioned in most studies, there was no statistically significant difference in serum GH and IGF-1 levels between the patient and and control groups [12–14]; however, aging is determined as a considerable risk factor changing the GH, IGF-1, and IGFBP-3 levels in both the MS group and the healthy control and some studies have demonstrated a negative correlation between serum IGF-1 levels with the age of MS patients [12, 13, 19, 27].
