In a recent study, Yang et al. (2016) concluded that the expression of tumor necrosis factor‐β1 (TGF‐β1) and Smad4 was significantly reduced by resveratrol in human rhabdomyosarcoma cells, and this inhibition was time‐ and concentration‐dependent, and its anticancer properties were produced by inhibiting the activation of the TGF‐β1/Smad signaling pathway. Here, TGFB1 is linked to rhabdomyosarcoma.
