VIM and gout: Immunostaining of ankle joint from gout model mice showed that a majority (56.6%) of CXCL5+ cells co-stained with fibroblast cell marker vimentin and to a lesser extent, co-stained with markers for macrophage (Iba-1) and mast cell (avidin) (30.0% and 12.3%, respectively) (Supplementary Fig. 2).
