In the review published by Masoomikarimi M et al. on COVID-19 immunopathogenesis; they stated that besides CRP, there was an increase in pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory plasma cytokines such as IL-2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10, IL-1β, IL-1RA, and tumor necrosis factor-alpha and they tried to shed on immunotherapy studies in COVID-19 [34].
