To assess the effect of B318L gene interruption on the ASFV infection-induced IFN-I and ISGs, PAMs were infected with ASFV-intB318L or ASFV-WT (multiplicity of infection (MOI) = 1) for 6, 12, or 24 h, and the mRNA and protein levels of several cytokines including IFN-α, IFN-β, ISG56, and MX1 were detected by qPCR and ELISA, respectively. The gene discussed is IFNB1; the disease is infection.
