Multiple investigations have established RBMS3 as a tumor suppressor gene in cancer,4, 5 and its down‐regulation has been linked to unfavorable prognoses in malignancies such as esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, lung squamous cell carcinoma, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, and gastric cancer.4, 6, 7. This evidence concerns the gene RBMS3 and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
