ARF4 has also been studied in many cancers, such as ARF4 promotes the proliferation and migration of epithelial ovarian cancer cells and can be regulated by miR-221-3p [16], and there are studies reporting that ARF4 may serve as a novel serum autoantibody biomarker for early diagnosis of gastric cancer and precancerous lesions [17]. This evidence concerns the gene ARF4 and gastric cancer.
