These data are further validated by in vivo experiments showing that CGA can reduce tumor growth and volume in pancreatic cancer cell-bearing nude mice by modifying cancer cell metabolism through decreasing levels of cyclin D1, c-Myc, and cyclin-dependent kinase-2 (CDK-2), interrupting mitochondrial respiration, and suppressing aerobic glycolysis [299].
