Signaling via the tissue factor (TF)-factor Xa (FXa)-FIIa-PAR1-axis has been proposed as a central mediator of thrombo-inflammation and is thus linked to the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis, cardiovascular inflammation, cardiac fibrosis, myocarditis, and heart failure (HF) [11,18,19,20,21,22,23]. This evidence concerns the gene F10 and hydrops fetalis.
