TNF and Parkinson disease: Oral administration of ursolic acid (25mg/kg body weight) in PD model mice led to a significant decrease in various inflammatory parameters like ionized calcium binding adaptor molecule 1 (Iba1), nuclear transcription factor-κB (NF-κB), and tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) in the substantia nigra pars compacta (SNpc) of MPTP-intoxicated animals.
