The concentration of ghrelin in colostrum samples from the colostral period was significantly lower (0.21 (0.17–0.33) ng/mL) in the GDM-G1 group than in GDM-G2 (0.38 (0.27–0.57) ng/mL) and non-GDM (0.36 (0.27–0.51 ng/mL)) cohorts (p = 0.01) (Figure 1, Table 2). Here, GHRL is linked to gestational diabetes.
