LRRC15 has emerged as a marker for cancer-associated fibroblasts, and numerous studies have demonstrated its high expression in various solid tumor types, including triple-negative breast cancer, head and neck cancer, non-small-cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, ovarian cancer, and osteosarcoma [34,35,36,37,38]. This evidence concerns the gene LRRC15 and familial pancreatic carcinoma.
