High levels of LRRC15 mRNA were observed in multiple tumor samples, including breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA) (all molecular subtypes), colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), cholangiocarcinoma (CHOL), glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), head and neck cancer (HNSC), kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PRAD), rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), and uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), when compared to their adjacent normal tissues. Here, LRRC15 is linked to head and neck cancer.
