Single studies detected BRAF fusions in 22 percent of myxoinflammatory fibroblastic sarcoma (MIFS) (mostly TOM1L2::BRAF and one single ROBO1::BRAF), a SLC37A3::BRAF fusion in a single case of myxofibrosarcoma and SEPT7::BRAF and CUX1::BRAF fusions in tumors with some characteristics of infantile fibrosarcoma [36,45,46,47]. The gene discussed is BRAF; the disease is congenital fibrosarcoma.
