Soft tissue sarcoma and osteosarcoma are the most common neoplasms in children with germline TP53 mutation, but among children with low hypodiploid acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), a particularly high risk phenotype, 91% had somatic TP53 mutation and nearly half of those patients had germline TP53 mutation [19,20]. Here, TP53 is linked to acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
