Levels of CXCL13 and sCD27 in the CSF of patients with active RR-MS undergoing autologous haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (AHSCT) and showing remission of disease activity over the 5-year follow-up after AHSCT decreased to levels of controls for all the period study suggesting that the long-lasting remission of disease activity in those patients can be associated with reducing the trafficking of lymphocytes in the CNS [44].
