IAG933, a potent and direct small‐molecule inhibitor that disrupts the interaction between YAP and TEAD proteins, is currently in a phase I clinical trial (NCT04857372) in patients with mesothelioma, NF2/LATS1/2‐mutated tumours and tumours harbouring functional YAP/TAZ fusions (i.e., YAP/TAZ hybrids that hyperactivate a TEAD‐based transcriptome). Here, NF2 is linked to neoplasm.
