EGFR and non-small cell lung carcinoma: The EMERGING-CTONG 1103 trial (2019) was a randomized, phase II trial evaluating 6 weeks of neoadjuvant erlotinib vs. 2 cycles of chemotherapy (gemcitabine 1,250 mg/m2 and cisplatin 75 mg/m2) in patients with stage IIIA-N2 NSCLC with EGFR exon 19 or 21 mutations, followed by 12 months of adjuvant erlotinib vs. 2 cycles of adjuvant chemotherapy (gemcitabine 1,250 mg/m2 and cisplatin 75 mg/m2).
