The ADAURA trial (2023) was a randomized, phase III trial, that showed that patients with stage IB to IIIA, resected, EGFR-mutated NSCLC who received adjuvant osimertinib 80 mg daily for up to 3 years had a longer DFS at 4 years compared to placebo (73% vs. 38%) and improved 5-year OS compared to placebo (88% vs 78%) (64, 65). Here, EGFR is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
