The PAS score was significantly negatively correlated with the expression of several immune checkpoint genes, including BTLA, CD27, CD48, etc. Interestingly, there was a strong positive correlation between the PAS score and CD274 (PD‐L1), suggesting that the high‐PAS group might have activated potential PD‐L1‐mediated immune evasion, thus promoting tumour progression.
