We found that the risk of stroke grew by 13% (odd ratio [OR] = 0.87, 95% confidence interval [CI] = 0.79–0.95, P = 0.0041) and the risk of ischemic stroke grew by 15% (OR = 0.85, 95%CI = 0.77–0.95, P = 0.0038) caused by genetically predicted SHBG. This evidence concerns the gene SHBG and Stroke.
