Studies have revealed that certain alleles are indeed associated with the occurrence of different types of hematological diseases, such as the comparison of clinical outcomes between HLA allele matched and 1–2 alleles mismatched unrelated allogeneic HSCT [13], the association between HLA-A, -B, and -DRB1 alleles and Chinese Han leukemia [14], and the correlation between HLA class I and II genes and susceptibility to aplastic anemia (AA) [15–17]. This evidence concerns the gene HLA-A and hematologic disorder.
