To investigate the association between CD44 gene mutations and alternations and clinical outcomes in, we found that CD44 gene mutations were associated with shortened OS (log-rank P=0.0192),as well as shortened DFS (log-rank P=0.0340) in esophageal adenocarcinoma and shortened DSS (log-rank P=0.0474) in sarcoma (Figure 3E). Here, CD44 is linked to sarcoma.
