By interrogating public datasets, we found that Apc inactivation in several mouse experimental paradigms, i.e. in the murine MC38 colon cancer cell line (GSE200908 [14]), mouse colonic tumor organoids (GSE208372 [15]), or mouse intestinal tumors (GSE167008 [16]), was systematically associated with Prnp gene upregulation (Fig. 1A–C). The gene discussed is APC; the disease is intestinal neoplasm.
