We observed difference in the infiltration of several types of immune cells between CD133-high and low BC, such as Th1 cells, M1 and M2 macrophages which infiltrated less, and classical dendritic cells (cDC) which infiltrated more in CD133-high BC, while many types of immune cells, such as CD8 + T cells, CD4 + memory T cells, Th2 cells, Mast cells, and B-cells, presented no significant difference in both cohorts (Fig. 5B). Here, CD8A is linked to breast cancer.
