We also found brain microglia with high expression of Cd74 and Ccl5 in single‐cell data of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) mice, a mouse model of multiple sclerosis (MS), suggesting that the upregulation of CD74 and CCL5 in microglia might be supposed to contribute to the pathogenesis of a series of autoimmune diseases including AU and MS (Figure S3E).22 Here, CCL5 is linked to alopecia universalis congenita.
