Additionally, we first searched on ANNOVAR31 to investigate the functional annotations of the variants of CD36 gene including the CD36 rs146148222 SNP found in this study, and then searched on Nephroseq32 (a database of omics data related to kidney function based on existing studies) to see if there is any difference in CD36 expressions in patients with CKD and without CKD. The gene discussed is CD36; the disease is chronic kidney disease.
