Immunohistochemical results showed a significant increase in the infiltration of CD4+ T cells, CD8+ T cells, CD68+ macrophages, and F4/80+ Kuffer cells in tumor tissues (Fig. 1E), which suggested a high degree of immune infiltration in the tumor tissues of DEN and CCl4-induced HCC mouse models.
